We encourage our young actors to use their imagination while learning creative movement, building self-confidence and self-control, and practicing communication with others. Theatre games, pantomime, improv skills, and beginner's dance are also introduced.

Tuesdays from 4:00 to 5:00pm

Beginner Level, ages 11-17

Never sung or danced before? No problem! This class builds self-confidence, self-control, and communication with others. The class teaches character development, scene studies, and basic choreography using contemporary musical numbers.

Tuesdays from 5:00 to 7:00pm

Building on skills learned in Beginner classes, students will expand self-confidence and self-control skills while exploring playwriting, creative writing, improv, scene study, movement, dance inprov, tap and percussion movements. They will be learning about the technical aspects of theatre as well, such as directing, lights, sound and so much more!

(students must audition to determine placement or have taken previous O-Acts classes)

Ages 11 to 17 - Mondays 5:00pm to 7:00pm

(and/or) Thursdays 4:30 to 6:30pm
